Purho to całkowicie nowa marka w dizajnie i wnętrzach, którą
niedawno odkryłem i w której od razu się zakochałem. Firma została założona w
2013 roku w Mediolanie i zajmuje się produkcją najwyższej jakości ceramiki
użytkowej i szkła. W ofercie znajduje się obecne kilkadziesiąt obiektów o różnym
przeznaczeniu, zaprojektowanych przez niezrównanego Karima Rashida. Już samo
nazwisko świadczy o niezwykłości kolekcji Purho, a gdy zagłębimy się bardziej w
genezę powstania poszczególnych przedmiotów, na usta ciśnie się „wow!”.
Purho is a completely new design brand, which I
have recently discovered and immediately fell in love with. The company was
founded in Milan in 2013 and they manufacture ceramics and glassware of the
highest quality. The range includes dozens of multifunctional objects, designed
by outstanding Karim Rashid. His name shows that Purho’s collection is
completely unusual, and when you delve deeply into the genesis of individual
items you can only scream 'wow'.

Inspiracją do stworzenia całej kolekcji stała się biologia,
uczucia oraz… in vitro. I rzeczywiście przejawia się to we wszystkich
przedmiotach. Każdy element ma organiczne kształty oraz żywe i energetyzujące
kolory. Wyobraźnia osoby oglądającej produkty Purho automatycznie narzuca mu
wyraźne skojarzenia z poszczególnymi układami wewnętrznymi ciała człowieka,
wzbogaconymi o ten właściwy dla Karima styl projektowania.
The inspiration for the entire collection was
biology, human feelings and... in vitro. These notions are indeed manifested in
every item. Each element has organic shape and comes in vibrant, energizing
colors. Once you deal with their products, you can easily associate them with
various internal body systems, but they are enriched with design style typical
of Karim.

Cała seria została wykonana z najlepszych materiałów. Większość
kolekcji to włoskie szkło Murano. Nieco mniej jest tutaj obiektów wytworzonych
ze szkła pyreksowego, które używane jest w laboratoriach ze względu na swoją
wytrzymałość – jest to kolejny ukłon w stronę biologicznej genezy marki.
Dodatkowo mamy tutaj kilka przykładów ceramiki, a wszystko wykonywane ręcznie,
z zachowaniem najwyższej precyzji.

There are fewer objects made of Pyrex glass, as it is a material typically used in laboratories due to its strength – this is another nod towards biological origin of the collection. In addition, we can find some examples of ceramics here, all handmade with the high precision.

Purho to marka, która jest zaskakująca i wyjątkowo świeża.
Na pewno znajdzie wielu zwolenników i myślę, że już niedługo stanie się kolejną

Purho is a brand that is
surprising and fresh. It will surely gain a number of fans soon. I also think
that it can quickly become another design icon, especially since Karim Rashid
is a high-class designer.
